Turin: a city that reads

Turin: a city that reads

ODS is actively involved with students and alumni in performances and events dedicated to reading out loud; we read aloud in libraries, squares and also on historic city trams, expecially during the Turin That Reads festival.

This festival is a project of the City of Turin and the Forum Of The Book in cooperation with MIUR and UNESCO; it is promoted on the occasion of the World Day Of Book and the Copyright Day established and set by UNESCO on the 23rd of April.
The voices of Cartoonia (Toontown)

The voices of Cartoonia (Toontown)

The The Voices of Cartoonia project, beside the attention devoted to the use of the voice in cartoons, aims to explore the relationship that binds the programmes aimed at the youngest with the language used, not intended only as dialogues, but also as picture building, content choices and cultural references.

It is not by chance that the name of the festival evokes Cartoonia (Toontown precisely), the imaginary city of the famous film "Who framed Roger Rabbit", the place where all the cartoon characters of the world live in harmony.
